The Hermosillo Heat Vulnerability Index Map indicates the normalized (between low (0) and high (1)) spatial concentration of the population most vulnerable to thermal extremes based on their expected Sensitivity as well as their residence in relation to Exposure.
The Hermosillo Temperature Index Map indicates the normalized (between low (0) and high (1)) surface temperature scale.
The Hermosillo Heat Sensitivity Index Map indicates the normalized (between low (0) and high (1)) spatial concentration of the population most sensitive to thermal extremes. In Hermosillo those sensitive populations include: the population below the age of 5, the population 65 years old and above, houses without electricity, houses without tap water, houses with at least 1 vehicle, adults 15 years old and above who are illiterate, the population without health service, the unemployed population, and the disabled population.
The Hermosillo Quality of Life Index Map indicates the normalized (between low (0) and high (1)) spatial concentration of the population of houses without electricity and houses without tap water.
The Hermosillo Heat Exposure Index Map indicates the normalized (between low (0) and high (1)) spatial concentration (density) of the population most exposed to high surface temperatures.
The Hermosillo Age Index Map indicates the normalized (between low (0) and high (1)) spatial concentration of the population below age 5 and equal to or above age 65.
