Green infrastructure (GI) is an increasingly popular climate change adaptation solution in cities today. As a broad concept that entails using and mimicking nature and ecology to provide services in cities, the concept of GI presents an alternative to traditional development by centering nature and ecology in the design, implementation, and management of urban areas.
